Hi, Please remember that the function of the seton is to allow drainage -- rather than drainage getting stuck and turning into an abscess. So it will continue to do its job, hopefully, for as long as you have it. As the fistula shrinks over time (and with meds), the drainage will go down too.
But the wound itself will stop weeping once the tissue heals. Your body is flushing out the toxic stuff from the abscess site, and getting fuid to help heal the cut tissue. My incisions have been big and they took many weeks to several months. Bottom line - it is normal to get weeping and drainage. Patience is necessary, sad to say.
The hard tissue could just be fluid in the tissue (edema) as a result of the trama of the incision -- normal. Is it hot or does it hurt? Is it spreading? If so, you could have a tissue infection (cellulitis). See your surgeon, or his/her nurse assistant quickly. I suggest if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to call them! I have found the nurses to be very helpful and compassionate, and they know alot about wound healing.
Take care.
