It's just so human... The PA/GI is busy and lost in his/her own concerns and pressures and does not think of all the things that need to be said or asked. The patient, sick and maybe not fully up on what they need to ask/say, misses something. You almost need a coach watching your illness and making sure that the doctor knows the details of your case.

You should be able to phone somewhere for the info you need and then you can decide where and when or if you need a flu shot.

Thanks. Somedays my brain does not function very well! The pain,due to this colon and darn fistula/ abscess does get to me. It also did not help that she suggested I need to have the thing drained again, and a seton inserted. By God's grace, it could be much worse.
