isergodur, gosh that's a mouthful lol, while I was taking Humira I started to get bad leg pains (mainly knee area), wrist & hand
pain & weakness and the worst kind of fatigue. So they decided to do an ANA blood test, that came back as positive. Now that alone
does not conclude that you have Lupus, but it's a strong indication. They then followed up with a DNA anti-body for lupus, that came
back as a strong positive. So that meant I had lupus for real and not the drug induced kind.
With the help of a maintainance dose of prednisone I have some relief of the leg pains. I really don't think that right now my lupus
is flaring, as I'm reasonably asymptomatic. However, when it does flare it's pretty tough going.
I hope this helps some. Why are they testing you?
Guy, yep pancreatic pain is the worst, especially in a acute attack. I had 2 attacks following 6mp treatment, they left my pancreas
scared. Recently it's gotten much worse, they are now trying to find out if I might be at end stage pancreatitis....
Keeper, thanks for that info. It is also important for people to keep an eye on their Triglyceride levels. Some of our medications
cause these fats to rise, and in turn does not do your pancreas any favors. I have a lipid panel done every 2 to 3 months....
Thanks everyone for posting, you've made me feel special LOL x
