Just had my third colonoscopy this year (!!!) on Monday. Had a severe flare earlier this year and it's the second check-up to see how well I have improved. Am feeling like I was in remission, but scope still shows moderate inflammation.
Ileocecal valve - moderate chronic inflammation
Ascending colon - moderate chronic inflammation
Descending colon - mild chronic inflammation
I have crohn's colitis, so everything has always stayed in my colon only and not the small bowel, but with the skip lesions that are more crohn's like.
A little disappointed today that I'm not healing faster, but definitely better than February's severe inflammation that had me down for the count for about 2.5 months.
