It's been years since I've prepped for a colonoscopy..... do you really have to drink the whole darn bottle? I can't even get down half. Can you stop when you run clear? HELP. I just can't do it!

You should be able to stop when you run clear. It really will depend on how much is in your system and if you have done clear liquids for a day or so before prep day.

Thank you Suzanne. I of course did not stay on clear liquids before today.... I appreciate your help and advice! I'll drink a little more, then I'm done. =O)

I have ulcerative proctitis. That is my advice too.....for two days prior to taking the prep, I stay on a liquid diet....or VERY light diet. On the prep day I drink about
1/3 of the prep and everything is fine.
