How long for Miralax prep to begin working??

For those of you who have done the Miralax and Dulcolax pill prep, how long after you started the prep before your first trip to the bathroom?

It was 6-7 hours for me as well, and I had no stricturing. I was very surprised at how long it took. Once it started working, however, everything got moving *very* quickly.

I always have a hard time getting cleaned out, as it takes way too long to start and then I'm still going the morning of the procedure.  I don't remember the name of the pills they usually give me now (huge pills that you take every 15 minutes), but I start throwing them up half way through taking them and then don't take the rest (or throw them back up whole, if I do).  Then, I don't start going until the middle of the night or the morning of the procedure and they always make the comment about me having bad prep on the reports.  I'm always worried when I'm still going to the bathroom right before they knock me out...what if I go on the table while I'm sedated?  But, they've never said that I did that, so hopefully it has't happened.  =)
