Predisolne (steriods) mood swings??

Hello

I have been on Predisolone for 5 weeks now and in the last two weeks i keep having very strange mood swings.

From being very happy full of energy to just wanting to sleep and feeling miserable dont know if im coming or going is this normal when your on steriods?

I feel anxious all the time like i got to keep busy and forgetting silly stuff

Sometimes i cant even sleep cause got so much energy but then wake up feeling so tired!!

so if anyone could tell me what there experience was like on them.

Yes to everything you said. With me, as a male, I had explosive temper also and blurred double vision the last time.. Time before that my wife was happy because the house was spotless. I became a regular "Felix Unger on steroids" lol

I am just starting my second week. First week was 40 mg and now is 30mg. I am having anger issues already but am enjoying a huge relief from pain.

pezdog. If you will forgive me for saying "at your age" I think it is easier to let the anger control you. Recognize what is happening to you and use your head. I'm very glad to hear your pain is improving.
