super bummer to hear about your experience, but i'd like to think that it served some good in all the stuff it probably got out of you.
i've been told by several GI's and naturopaths that if you have a digestive disease (ie CD, UC, IBS, etc) you don't want to do digestive type cleanses, like colon cleanses. it irritates the gut lining more than it already is. there are other ways to detox and cleanse that are less evasive. oh, and with a cleanse, you always end up feeling worse as toxins etc come to the surface and are removed, so that is when you need to be eating right and repopulating with a good probiotic and drinking enough water.
