any advice on joint pain?

In 2006 I started getting a lot of pain in my feet and ankle's. my knee's and ankle's was always swelling up and aching all the time. It went away for about a year but now my feet and ankles are aching and hurting. Also my wrists and fingers ache alot too. There sees to be no swelling at the minute. Just lifting the milk up to put over cereals was a tough job for my wrists. Does anyone know why my joints do this? I know its to do with my Crohns but im just confused. Is it a type of arthritis? if so what type I have just been given Sulfasalazine but cannot start them till Tuesday

the joint pains may result due to lyme also, so get checked for it. i had similar symptoms found out positive for lyme.


also until the results come, avoid (if you can) pain killer and anti-inflammatory medicine, as they may cause. and REFUSE!!!! all kinds of cortiosteriod injectiosn into your joints, because depending on the reason for the joint pain, you may make yourself chronic!!!!

so best is to visit a rhumeologist, do some lyme and rhumetoid factor test. and if you test positive for lyme, get a llmd. (lyme literate md) who can fix you. its going to be rough battle this point on if you anything is found, -- sorry to warn you, but i think its important. but may be its just passing and old age.
