Remicade & Breast feeding

I am due in about 10 weeks and on Remicade & Pentasa. My OB says it should be fine for me to breast feed, has anyone out there had any expericence with this? 

I know at least on mom here -- Stef17 -- breastfed on it. The general thought is that the molecule is too large to past into your milk. The best resource for looking up any drugs in milk is Dr. Hale. He wrote the book used by lactation consultants and has a searchable database. You can't ask a question unless you are a medical professional, but you can search remicade links.

Congrats on your new baby and pregnancy! Enjoy your last 10 weeks carrying that LO around. It's amazing how quickly you miss those not so little kicks. Good luck breast feeding too. It can be hard at first, but is worth it and, at least for me, helped my hormones regulate slowly, so I pretty much dodged the post-baby flare.
