I am having really bad stomach cramps and having constipation but with the constipation I am having urgency throughout the day. I am bleeding and have some mucus so I am considering this a flare, wouldn't you? I am going to the GI today and hopefully they can tell me something. I am already on 100mg of 6mp and 4.8 gm lialda and 40 mg of bentyl. I think I'm running out of options. Is there any other testing I should be asking them to do?

Not sure if you are flaring as constipation could cause the cramping and also some blood if the stools are really hard. I am more leaning to wondering if you have some kind of stricture going on. I think the small bowel follow thru is best to diagnose a stricture.

I suffer with more constipation and take stool softners nightly in order to go daily. Good luck and keep us posted.
