Not sure how to explain this but it feels like something stuck in my throat

I haven't posted in awhile. I have Crohn's and the only medication that I take is Remicade infusions every 2 months. I also have hypothyroidism and take synthoid for that. For the past two weeks I have been having an unusual feeling in my throat and I am starting to worry about it. The only times I have had simillar feelings is when I have taken a pill or vitamin and it sort of got stuck in my throat. Eventually that would go away. This feels the same but it does not go away. It seems to increase when I drink or eat something.

Not sure if it's related to Crohn's, the thyroid or if it's something else.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

man i am just getting over that, my gi told me it definatly is part of cd, it was so bad for me that I would choke on food so easily, I finally had to swith med's was on entocort which was ok for my small bowel resection area but had no effect on my throat, i also had canker sores really bad that would come and go, so now I'm on imuran and 15mg pred. and it cleared up. but I'm %95 vegan and eat some fish and some chicken organic and free range only no skin on the chicken. so that helps in swallowing on my throat, my throat just felt swollen all the time

Could it be acid reflux or gerd?

Thanks for the responses. Yeah, I wasn't thinking about the acid reflux or the gerd. I do get that once in awhile. Also my voice is cracking.
I will have that checked.

MMMNAVY, yes that is exactly what it feels like. I just had my syntroid levels check a couple of months back. They did have to increase the dosage.
