When you dont want to take any flagyl anymore. Xifaxin for fistula?

I have flagyl 500mg that i usually take twice a day when i notice any symptoms of fistula or "butt" pain when sitting.

I noticed a little pain on top of my hand that felt weird when the top of the hand stretched.. Its gone now. not sure if thats considered neuropathy.
No numbness though.

Will Xifanxin help with a perianal Fistula? or even an abscess in the butt cheek? Weird because i never knew u could get an abscess or fistula in the butt cheek because it acts up sometimes and swells.

To the best of my knowledge and the experience I have with Xifaxan, it did nothing for my fistula. Much easier on my system than Cipro/Flagyl though. Then again, the only one time I said on the C-F combo for a month it didn't heal my fistula either. (It did put me in the hospital though - the antibiotics caused a huge flare)
