Can you get an abscess "in" a Buttcheek?

It's weird because its located "In" the left buttcheek where like to bone would be.

Its not a "boil" yet. Its just kind of a "bump" or swollen and bothers me to sit at times.

I mean how would that happen?

Who even knows if it is.. It always gets worse when Im on Narcotics for pain. I think it gets better with Flagyl, but don't really just want to start my flagyl.. it sometimes makes me sick.

I was getting boils/abscesses on my butt cheeks and everywhere else in that general area. It seems it is a side effect of my Cimzia. They said it caused me to get a skin infection. Soaking in a hot, epsom salt bath has helped keep them small and then they dry up. At one point they were pretty big.

Right. thanks for the reply. Not a "boil" yet. Just a "hill" or sore Bump. heating pad sometimes helps i guess. So does antibiotics.

I would try the above suggestion first to take hot bathes with epsom salts to bring it to a head. It could very well be a boil type issue and the soaking will bring it to head and allow it to drain. Good luck!
