How much can your mind play a role in IBD?

I was just curious.... When I was on a 7 day service trip I really didn't have any problems.... Everyday I would have 1-2 bowel movements...

My diet was poor.... A lot of fattening food....

The only difference I can think is that I was so busy that I didn't have time to think about my stomach....

Work is being done here in Australia on the beneficial effect mindfulness (which I think means living in the moment?) can have on IBD.
