Pill Cam time

So here I am, at the end of the road for testing. All other scans have showed a big fat nothing. Colonoscopies have turned up colitis every time. I'm in constant pain and going a minimum of 6x a day.

So, swallowing the pill cam on Monday and hoping it gives me answers. If it comes back with nothing I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. Living in the bathroom and the pain is just wearing me down. :(

Side note : I cannot swallow pills with water. At all. Do you think they'd let me take it with a cracker or something.....?

I doubt they'll let you eat anything when you swallow it. The food could coat it and block the camera. Have you talked to the doc about swallowing it?

Good luck with the test. I had one a while ago and it was one of the easier tests. Just don't plan to do much that day. It's not that you'll feel lousy; you'll be wearing a vest that will make you look like a terrorist or a mad bomber. You will scare people.

Yeah, they told me I could go to work, and I took one look at that "uni-bomber" vest and I went home. Before I was diagnosed, my colonoscopy and endoscopies were totally normal. The pill cam detected a bleeding ulcer in my small intestine that could not have been detected any other way. The pill you swallow is about the size of a large vitamin pill. I hope you can find a way to swallow the pill...it may give you extremely useful information.
