remicade and Bowel obstructions.

why is that they say people who have been treated with remicade and respond well are likely to obstruct. Data shows now that remicade kind of puts people at risk for obstruction? My doctor said something about that.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think drugs like Humira and Remicade create a lot of scar tissue when they heal up your intestines. These strictures then make it more likely that you'll obstruct.

I heard that the Remicade causes such quick healing that it creates alot of scar tissue. I have been told that I am not a candidate for Remicade too because of the problems I have with strictures.
