hey TP, i answered your email. when yahoo shut down geocities we lost everything.. they didnt even send out a notice. by then we couldnt get back into it and neither could yahoo.. iam trying on getting it rebuilt by summer time so keep looking. :-)

I remember getting emails about geocities shutting down. Maybe they went to your spam box or something :-(

Hi Randy and Tiger,

There are some web archiving services available that may have stored copies of your website. For example, I hit upon a version of your site from May 30, 2008:
http://web.archive.org/web/20080520053139/http://www.geocities.com/randynogutsweb/

There are also versions from May 18, 2008, and 2 versions in 2004 here:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.geocities.com/randynogutsweb/

It might help you bring your site back online (if you dont' have a stored copy yourself). It may also help the rest of you that are looking for his site.

Edit: I just noticed that the "My Story" link was not archived, which seems to be what you are looking for. :(  Most of the remainder of the site has been archived though.

Free web hosting is probably a doomed business, no matter who is offering it. That's why I never trusted Geocities - I assumed it would fail, and it has.

Right now, I'm using a not free but very cheap hosting service, nearlyfreespeech.net. It's no-frills, and you get charged only for the bandwidth you use, so if your site is low traffic, it comes pretty close to free. Last year, it cost me something like $10 (for the entire year, not per month).

THANKS guys! i will see what i can do. its so hard to trust web site hosts. i mean who the heck are they? and giving them my card #? i dont know.. technology is so scary..
