Curious to know what folks on forum consider a flare, is it just diarrhea, or is it a combination
of things, such as fever, pain, diarrhea, blood in stool, w ould u consider yourself in a flare if u had just diarrhea and some bloating, or pain.
thanx tiger

I always had D, cramping, joint pain and night sweats during a 'general' flare. Things were severe when I had fever, loss of appetite and higher level of pain:(
But, this disease is so different for all of us:( If if affects your quality of life, you could consider it a flare!

For me its lots of abdominal pain, the Big D, rectal bleeding ( sometimes moderately heavy), loss of appetite, & usually joint pain. And it lasts more than a couple of weeks.

Yup as Mathew stated, all or most symptoms get worse. Way worse. Can last a long time, unfortunately!

Mine is continuing and worsening of symptoms over a period of time. I know I am flaring if things do not improve within a week to 10 days.
