I had a colonoscopy today because I had started with really bad cramping. He wanted to make sure there was no scar tissue building up at the anastamosis site and that my Chron's was not spreading. After the procedure, he came out and told me that everything looked really good, there was no problem at the surgical site, and that my chron's was in remission.
I guess I'm just confused because I didn't know that you could tell from a colonoscopy that chron's was in remission. He has always thought that I had IBS along with the chron's, so maybe the cramping was from that? He didn't take away any of my medications, just decreased the entocort to 1 capsule per day. Is there anybody that can clear this up for me?
