headaches

Hi all,

was wondering how common many of you suffer from headaches.  I know mine do get triggered from the pentasa and being palced on elavil again has helped but recently with my flares I have had to take more pain meds than norm I think this is causing residual headaches.  Do any of you find things that help?  I tend to take excedrine tension headache for these which is just tylenol with caffeine at times I just take the tylenol.  Anyone else have suggestions?  Does anyone else sufer from these as well?

about 6 years ago I started getting headaches, not sure what triggered them to start and I'm not always sure what triggers each particular headache. As far as what works, I'm still working on that too. I admit I take the Excedrin Migraine once in a while, but it has NSAIDS in it, so it is not something that we should be taking. I try to stick to tylenlol. But I have some RX stuff, Fioricet and Imitrex IM. They help, but if I have a really bad headache they just take the edge off. I do know that one trigger for me is weather changes, so summer time is not good, the constant change from dry to humid puts me in a headache state.

If you are getting them a lot you might want to see a neurologist. I see one who has been able to help me so that I don't get as many. I am on some preventative meds and then the medications to stop it when I have a break through headache.

Two things I can not deal with, headaches and nausea. Unfortunately CD gives me nausea and now I get headaches. Pain I can take the others, not so much.

i also get rebound headaches...
