* keep thinking about food
* exercise
* spend some time outside before the cold snap hits smurf
* do some washing - ditto
* do a bit of tidying

That's it for me.

Done it all. AND we have a new Prime Minister, though that's not really of my doing...

Is anyone else interested in pursuing the tlc threads, or has the enthusiasm waned? I'm not sure I feel comfortable using a thread just for me...

i have done some laundry and have almost caught up with all of it!
washing up is still waiting to be caught up with, but who cares!
i may get round to shaving my legs (!!)
just read a copy of a magazine about horses - and trying desperatly to think of a way i could manage to have one of my own!
about to listen to some music and peg out the laundry i have just done.

I think TLC is brill! It reminds me that i do do stuff even if i only got 3 hours sleep last night cos i'm on stupid pred!

Habs, what's the story with the call? That sounds stressful.

Did you get the legs done, chocholic? I get like that - it takes sooooo long and is so tiring - but I always feel better about myself when they're done.

What sort of horse would you like to have?

Ack. It would make more sense to post in these tlc topics when I wake up rather than at the end of the day :-/

A bit of a frustrating day today in that I have felt rather tired and sluggish all day for no obvious reason. It makes doing most things feel like wading through treacle. On the plus side, my depression has for now gone away, and I pray it stays away. I did succeed with one target goal actually; watch Episode 12 (The Pandorica opens) of Doctor Who on iPlayer before this Saturday, which I did tonight. Corking episode, yay! \0/ :p

I do like the idea behind tlc. I'm quite dozy and am capable of forgetting my own body if I wasn't inside it. But I think keeping a daily diary of reminders would do me good. If you post a Friday tlc thread tomorrow, Ivy, I will post in it. I'll make myself remember.

You know the Tin Man's song from The Wizard of Oz? That's my theme song these days - "if I only had a brain..."

Great job catching up on Dr Who. I have to do some serious "Jericho" watching today (maybe while exercising) as the DVD has to be returned to the library today.

You're not alone in feeling so dozy. Hard, isn't it?

Speaking of coincidences, I saw your Friday tlc as soon as I had posted in this thread! It's still Thursday night for me, so I'll post in it after waking tomorrow :p

Yes, I remember the Tin Man's song. Used to love The Wizard of Oz as a child; it used to always be on TV on Christmas Day, so I associate it with Christmas.

^Hope you enjoy Jericho. I've heard of it, but not seen it.

It is hard feeling dozy =/ I concentrated hard on Dr Who and even so still missed something blindingly obvious :-/ More than ever, I appreciate my relatively "bright" days =/

Don't you hate that? I always know I'm really unwell when tv stops making sense.

I was never a fan of spy and mystery movies, but I stopped watching them years ago because I knew I'd have Buckley's of understanding them with a brain like this :-).

I missed the chance to get into the new Dr Who but caught a few minutes of it a few weeks ago: since when did the good Dr become a teenager?!! He looks about 17...

"new" Who is good, but the plot arcs make it dreadfully confusing to follow at times. It relies on you remembering stuff from earlier episodes; fatal for somebody like me.

Heh, the Doctor does look increasingly younger with each regeneration doesn't he? The 12th Doctor will look about 8! >_> For that reason I was against the choice of Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, but actually he has turned out to be an excellent choice. I've forgotten how young he looks now. His acting is really good.

So today has been a 3 nap day and attempting to finish a novel.  Weather is lovely but can't enjoy it today, at least it is not monsooning out today.  Parts of the midwest have been found in Texas.

OMG, those flying monkeys were the worst. That show scared me to death as a kid, but I had to watch it. I loved Glenda, the good witch!! Nice dress, eh??? They don't seem to have too many princesses anymore.

Anyway, I took my first small dose of prednisone today and it made me hungry. I took a 40 mg one day for a pre medication and it didn't make me this hungry!!! My joint pain seemed to disappear (no rain in sight for a few days) but gonna take the prednisone to see what happens to the colitis.

Went for a nice swim today. Looking forward to the weekend..
