Had a bad time in the er about
six weeks ago. The meds made me so dizzy I've been in bed since. This thread really helped keep my spirits up. Almost every day I read this thread and have started keeping my own version of tlc "things I've succeeded doing today." Sometimes it was just little like managing to stay out of bed for half an hour and walk around with a cane. Sometimes it was just managing to take a shower all by myself. This week my meds have been changed and the dizziness is almost gone. I am still at about
1/3 strength but it feels so much better. I got inspired to make a french intensive vegetable and fruit garden in a 4 ft by 12 ft space. The French use a different soil prep and planting method for small gardens. It is very labor intensive in the beginning because of the amount of soil prep. and amendment. I started doing only 30 minutes a day. Today I did 5 hours (with many breaks). Tomorrow I will be ready to plant all the herbs and vegetables. The bosc pear and fuji apple espaliere trees look beautiful and arrived with about
2 dozen 1" baby fruits. Thank you everyone for reminding me that sometimes just brushing your teeth can be an accomplishment to be proud of and to build on.
