Stop Asacol with Colonoscopy Prep?

I've got a cscope coming up and it just occurred to me whether I might stop taking Asacol for a day or two, since it coats the colon and is reddish/brown. Anybody know?

I have had 3 colonoscopy's done and was never told to stop taking the asacol. Maybe you can give your GI doctor a call and find out. Sorry I wasn't much help.

I just had a colonoscopy last week and I took my asacol the night before my scope. GI did not say to stop it. I'm positive you can take it. The shell is reddish brown, but even when it breaks open the shell stays mostly intact. If they see one it's going to be obvious that it's asacol.
