The tests or in and though my wifes cancer has returned, it is not in the bones and is treatable . It will be like a cronic illness now, that will need meds for the rest of her life to stay in remission but we can deal with that. Thank you guys for all the kind thoughts and prayers . I was very close to the end of my rope and now I feel there is hope. Even though it is stage four now, I feel we can keep it under control with meds and care . I'm a happy guy . Thank you all again for the love and support you give.

It is amazing how much you can love one person and how when you see them hurt you forget about
your own pain. I am so proud of you for holding strong and supporting her. She is very lucky to have you as a husband. This is only going to make your relationship stronger because you know what it is like to take medications and have a chronic illness. As she begins this journey, you are going to be able to give her support from a standpoint that few can and will truly understand the ups and the downs. I am so grateful to hear that she is treatable and that you will be able to have many more evenings with her. Don't waste a minute of it.

We have been married for 39 years but she was my sweety long before that. She is not just my wife but my best friend and the driving force in my life. I would have long ago given up without her beside me and there is no way I would not be there for her in the bad times. I take the vows I made very serious and ment every word or I would not have made them . I see so many relationships fail and I think that you not only have to love someone but like them as a friend and a person before you can live together forever. Yes , we have had bad times as well as good and dont see eye to eye on all things , but, nothing is strong enough to break the bond we have. When she faced the bilateral mistectamy four years ago , pardon my spelling , she was concerned about
what I though. I told her that the loss hurt me because it hurt her and it would not change how much I loved her, that my love for her was deeper than physical . Truth is, I love her more. I love her mind, her way of thinking , her laugh and her outlook on life . Life has handed me some very hard knocks but it also gave her to me and thats the best ever. Hope all this mushy stuff isn't bad reading for you guys. My feeling are still a bit raw right now. Its been a bumpy ride and its not over yet , but the light is brighter. Thanks you all again for the support . Yep, old sniper has a marshmellow center.

I love hearing this story Sniper. I am glad that you too found someone to love unconditionally and who loves you the same way. I too am very blessed with a spouse who is my best friend. I couldn't even imagine my life without my husband. Hugs to you and C!
