I was diagnosed with Crohns 10/04 and doing quite well. I am also a 2 time cancer survivor. I started with Asacol, switched to Colazal with few side effects. I also take omeprazole, synthroid, probiotics, fish oil, calcium, multi-vitamin, psyllium husk and flax seed. I recently had blood work done and my potassium level was high (5.5). It was retested and was still high at 5.4 (normal is 3.5-5.2). All other tests were normal. I am wondering it the Colazal would make it high? I have read that anti-inflammatory medications could do this. Any thoughts?

Not sure if the Colazal is causing it or not. Have you tried calling your pharmacist and asking them if this could happen? Also wanted to add my welcome too. Hugs!
