Basics:

* shower, wash hair, dress
* tlc for body (in this case, give myself a manicure)
* make bed
* exercise / stretching / movement
* some / all dishes
* go to & spend some time at church group afternoon tea, which I'd rather not do (I want to sleep and cook) but I think it's important that I put in an appearance, at least
* talk to family
* rest & read, as needed

Try to:

* hang the washing I did on Wednesday and left in the machine blush (I'm rewashing it now, and hope that nothing has run)
* update accounts


That's it for now. May add more later.

Friday TLC

* finish off dishes
* wipe down kitchen counters
* do some googling on what i could do in leeds
* put clothes away in my room
* keep eating
* keep drinking
* make my bed? kinda hoping i can convince mum to do it


Had another rough night, kept waking up in pain or i was freezing cos i was in pain ect ect. The kittens are coming on smashing, coco has begun to follow me around. She evens comes and sits on my knee when i'm sat on the loo. Bless her, Gucci isn't as good at the following part but he usually tags along as well. Total cuteness!!!

Don't you love cats' company when you're in the loo? I have one who used to think that a human on the loo = an instant lap = cuddle time :-) but she has slowly learnt that this isn't the case :-) and just comes in for a pat instead.

I'm so sorry you had such a rotten night, Choc. How's your pain now?

I'm not in pain now, i think i over ate yesterday. My appetite is really going downhill, so when i do eat i eat alot! So very tired, but must do dishes and wipe counters! must gather some energy!
Why on earth do the kittens pester to be let out, then insist on playing inside????

Coco and Gucci....LOVE THE NAMES!!! I'm so bad when it comes to naming my critters. The cat I had for 22 years was named Mama and my current cat is named Bob. Real original, eh? :-)

aww, lori thanks. I had to come up with something and mum wanted darcy and bennet after pride and predjudice. I think designer names on semi feral farm kittens is just perfect!!
I have plans to eventually rescue a staffordshire bull terrier and i'm planning on calling her 'Flower'. Staffies are used in this country to make people look hard and gangsterish so many end up in rescues, poor babies.

I've just called my mate and she's coming on sunday evening and staying till tuesday evening. So i will have company on my trip to leeds!! yay!!

* finish dishes - done

* throw away dead roses - done
* clean loo and sink - done

Yay Choc! Always fun to have friends for a trip!

I worked this morning from 10-1:30. Made $20 in tips (plus I get paid hourly) so it was a good morning. I have plans tonight, tomorrow and Sunday for friend's birthdays and my sister's bday, so it'll be a fun weekend. I felt a little bad asking for the first weekend off, but since I already said I'd go, I didn't want to cancel, and the boss understood. I'll work again on Monday. It's nice being out of the house and working again, even if I'm not making too much.

Before my plans tonight, I'm gonna:
*vacuum
*do a load of laundry
*relax and catch up on some tv shows

whoop!! working is amazing, especially when it means money in the pocket!

Hi All,

Well it's 22.25 pm and I have been back about 25 mins(left at 8.30 this morning :( ) So you could say it has been a long day.Was doing really well time wise until got to a part of the A1 where all lanes were shut(all of them can you believe that)and had to go off on a diversion, was not a happy bunny, diversion signs were sending me one way, Mary(sat nav) was tryng to send me another and sorry to say I lost my temper big time, ended up getting there at about 13.15pm. House dd has moved into is a hovel(as in filthy, I mean really filthy) Just got to work out  next course of action now. Went through the inventory with her and just about disputed everything on it(especially regarding condition and cleanliness) Helped her unpack, took her to supermarket etc and drove away cry   The only bonus to the day was that the drive back was relatively smooth(and quick :) )

Will catch up more tomorrow, Night all

Choc, instead of eating a lot, would it help to eat foods that are denser in terms of nutrition and calories? That would save you from suffering pain as a result of putting so much bulk in your gut at once, and perhaps also spare your body from that terrible desire for lots of food that we can get when we are really hungry, both at a stomach and a nutritional level.

I hope you have a fabulous time at the birthday parties.

That really is terrible about the house, Vixen. Is she in it by herself, or sharing with others? 'cos it'd be terrible if she had to clean it all up by herself. It's good that she had a second pair of eyes in you, though, to prove that the house was as bad as it was.

Sorry I didn't post today.

Ended up giving my mum a lift and having lunch with her and my aunt and aunt's friend. Tried to keep it plain and simple and reduce portions by not finishing stuff (hard for somebody who has spent a lifetime in assiduously finishing off everything on their plate), but it didn't work very well. I had pea and ham soup, omelette and chips and a crepe with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce - I wouldn't have ordered dessert, but the friend complained about a chip in the soup bowl and we ended up with dessert and coffee on the house =/

I quite enjoyed it but paid the price all day long. But at least I got enough calories for today.

@choc - agree with you about staffies. They're not bad dogs in themselves, but they do attract moron owners. Fortunately not always. My ex-neighbour had a staffie and she was very sweet and nice.

@vixen - glad you're back safely. I'm sorry the dd's house is a hovel; hope it's cleanable :-/ But if not, bring on Kim and Aggie, yeah <_<

LOL, you know, I tried their trick of soaking things in biological washing powder, and it WORKS! Long live Kim & Aggie!!!

The lunch sounds like a pretty stomach-upsetting combination (pea soup! ouch) but the crepe sounds yummy... but hey, I'm a chocoholic too :-). I'm sorry you're paying for it now, but I still think you're fantastically brave to have eaten out at all - kudos to you.

I'm having a massive rest day today: lots of bed and books and story-tapes, and am enjoying it tremendously. I hope you have a good sleep when you get there, NCOT, and that you will be untroubled by pain.

If only Kim and Aggie were available!! She will be sharing with 3 others-one arrives tomorrow and the other two in two weeks time.
As a bonus I had my camera with me so i got it all on film too! Have had a fair amount of practice at this sort of thing as we lived in Forces Married Quarters for some time(they are quite particular ;) )
