Hello everyone,
I hope today goes well for all!!! For me I feel a flare coming on.. I was wondering if anyone has heard of the mangosteen fruit and how good it is for crohns/colitis? See, I have the reg. GI specialist and a nutritionist associated with my GI. However, I like to be holistic and have natural alternatives as well. I tried bosawella herb pill. That worked for little, then stopped. And, now my mom wanted me to try this mangosteen she heard about on the Doctor Oz show. So, I've been on it for a week. And, I can't tell if i feel a little better because that or my period went away ( each month for two weeks I get a TERRRRRRRRIIIIIBLLLLLEEEEEE FLARE!) since march. If anyone wants to talk about menstration and crohn's PLEASE put up another post I would love to hear how you deal with it because I feel like I can't at some points. Back to mangosteen and other natural remedies to help deal. What do you do ? what do you think about it? And how come I can always feel the beginning of a flare (bloat, chills, on coming of fever.) instead of diving right into full blown flares (joint pain, the big D , puking, body temp changes, fever...PAIN PAIN PAIN)?? What is our bodies trying to say?Does it relate to how some people have crohn's because of the bacteria? Sorry for all the questions but they are all related.=)
Thanks for listening
((warm hugs))
P.s.
I just registered for accessability at college. This is a DISABILITY!!! so please any college student in the CUNY system who needs extra time for tests because of bathroom breaks and crohn's related matters. Don't fear, you are qualified!!!!!. Best of luck with school!! ( that should also be applicable to younger students in high school, middle, and grammar. Parents check with a school adviser!. =)
