* get up early so as to be ready for plumbers - done
* shower and dress early so as to ditto - done
* hang around and wait for plumbers - doing eyes
* strip bed and wash sheets so they're done before plumbers (maybe) turn off water - done
* do other loads of washing if I have time - doing
* usual tidying, dishes etc - doing
* hassle other plumbers about other job, who are unreliable and giving me the irrits.


Seeing as I'm stuck at home and can't be in bed, which is where I want to be redface , try to do some of these:

* dust / clean / tidy / sort out bedroom?
* ditto garage?
* give the kitchen some extra tlc?
* wrap some Christmas gifts?
* sort out recipes?
* work on paperwork pile?
* work on correspondence pile?
* ironing?
* mending?
* reading?
* etc

* sigh* Tired tired tired...

They're four hours late at this stage.

GGGGGRRRRRRRR for you Ivy, can you not find other plumbers? Or are you stuck with those ones? Where we used to live in West Cork, Ireland there was ONE plumber, one carpenter ect ect. They got to you when they got to you! Think we had to wait 6 months to get them to put central heating in our old house. Crazy times!

Friday TLC

* change kitty litter
* drink more (keep waking up really thirsty)
* eat?
* walk to post office to mail the paperwork off
* water plants

Tomorrow is movie day, mum bought a new DVD so i'm going to save it for tomorrow as saturday tv is total rubbish!

Hey All!

For today:
*shower-done
*dress-done
*coffee-done
*work @ 11am-leaving soon

I probably won't be back since I'll be working until about 730 or so this evening. I'll probably crash into bed right when I get home. I do have off Saturday and Sunday though because I have plans. A friends little boy is getting baptized and she asked me to be there. Since she lives over an hour away, I'm staying at her house tomorrow night (this also helps my adversion to getting up early).

Ivy-I hate waiting around for people to get to the house! Hope he got the job done finally!

I stayed away last night and most of today because I was completely grumpy about what happened on Friday. The plumber was SIX HOURS LATE, stayed five minutes, only did one of the many jobs he was supposed to do, and announced that he'd send a colleague to finish off the rest some other day. GRRRRRRRR.

This is typical plumber behaviour, but bollocks to them: I'm too busy and overwhelmed to sit around waiting for tradesmen to show up or not show up. It's bad enough having to spend much of our lives waiting around for doctors...

Why the thirst, Choc? That sounds odd. And can I say congrats again on finishing the paperwork, and double congrats on walking to post it even though you're feeling sick? Kudos to you. btw, how's your Mum's toothache?

Have a lovely time at the Christening, Becky, and I hope you can get there and back without any symptoms.

Choc, I hope you enjoy the DVD.

I'm not sure, i know my temperature seems to flucuate alot. I dont run an actual temp but i can be sat in a vest top sweating bullets with the fan on and mum's got loads of layers on. I seem to get really really cold at night. Last night i ended up going the bed with my teeth chattering even though the heating was on and the air wasnt cold. Once i got into bed, i warmed up then got too hot so had to get up and turn the heating off. I'm heading to the GP soon cos i need another sick note so i'll bring it up.

I didnt end up walking round to the post office, it rained all day and the last time i got soaked i ran a fever. Mum's posting it for me this morning. Not sure whats happened to the toothache, she hasnt mentioned it. Which is probably a good thing!

Ivy i'm so sorry about the plumber. Its one of those times where you really need some-one strong to get them by the scruff of the neck and encourage them to do your work speedily and properly! Is there anyone you can complain to?
