What a great idea! Here's my list...
I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who loves me for me, despite the fact that I'm somewhat defective. Despite the days when all I do is whine and complain... and nag ; )
I'm thankful for my family - Mom, Dad, brothers and sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. They're all amazing people and I'm lucky to have grown up with them and still have most of them with me.
I'm thankful there exits a hard-working GI with impeccable bedside manner who listens to his patients and does his best to help relieve their pain, and I'm thankful to be one of those patients.
I'm thankful for my dog and all the love she has to give, especially when I'm feeling down. It's amazing what an effect pets can have on people.
I'm thankful I was able to finish university, despite this ridiculousness they call Crohn's
And I'm oh so thankful for the Remicade that, so far, is doing its job. I had a turkey dinner tonight and didn't have to get up from the table once!
Oh! And since it's Canadian Thanksgiving, I have to mention: I'm thankful for our health care system, despite its faults.
Happy Thanksgiving!
