Altitude Sickness & Crohn's

I am an east coast born/bred gal. I am traveling for work and will be heading to Colorado Springs on Sunday and I was wondering if I should be concerned about the altitude impact to my Crohn's disease.

I'm basically in remission. I have no pain, but do have diarrhea, which I control w/ Colestid. Do you have any words of advice for me?

Was in Cusco, Peru last year at 11,000 feet. Didn't bother my gutl. Of course I acclimatized....

Drink a lot of water. People get dehydrated at high altitudes faster than at sea level. Plus it's as dry as the desert out there. I do get altitude sickness, but IMO it has nothing to do with my CD.
