Less than 2 weeks ago I posted a very similar question. The pain started in my feet and now affects my calves as though the muscles are pulled as tight as they can be. The muscles hurt pretty much all the time, and now the past few days I feel the same aches sometimes in my thighs. I went to my family dr. and he took an x-ray of my back. A little arthritis, but he says this should not cause this type of muscle aches and pains...heaviness and tiredness. He said it may be a type of neuritis, or more inflammation from my Crohn's. So as I had my yearly checkup with my g.i. I asked her the same question. She didn't really have an answer for me except that it may be arthritis, a very common symptom of Crohn's patients. She did blood work and everything came back normal. She told me to take Tylenol. So that's what I'm doing, taking Tylenol and living with it. I was so surprised to see your post because it sounds so similar. It doesn't feel like it's in my joints or my bones, but in my muscles. I hope we both can find an answer one day. So far both of my doctors are baffled. I don't know how old you are, but I am a 59 year old female, have had Crohn's for the past 12 years. At my age everything begins to hurt, but this is really no fun at all.
