I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was 30. I had trouble healing from a surgery and the surgeon found out that the reason was because of Crohn's Disease. I have had surgery for hemmrhoids and fistulas. I recently had a small section of my colon removed because my intestines were twisted. I am getting ready to start Remicade for the second time.

Hi and welcome,  good luck with the remicade hope you feel the benefits from it really soon. I noticed a difference after my first dose had loads of energy and within the first week a small fistula in my stomach had started to heal, unfortunately had a reaction on 2nd dose so remicade no more :(  Am now trying Humira wishing you all the very best with it.
