Humira and prednisolone

I have had recent blood tests back and my CRP has now gone to 40 and ESR to 38 which is the highest they have both ever been even before I had my resection 4 yrs ago!
I had a call from the docs surgery (GP) just saying need to speak to him about steroids (yet again), so it looks like he probably wants me to go back on the steroids, although only been off them for the best part of 2 weeks.
I am also due to start Humira on the 9th November.
Has anyone taken the steroids and the Humira at the same time?????
I dont want to start taking more steroids if it is going to affect the Humira in anyway, as I need to find a medication that is going to control the crohns as it seems to be getting worse again!

Ok tx, was just a bit wary! but I do need to get this flare under control, it has lasted far too long.
Think I done about 2-3 months work this year with all the time I have had to take off work due to flares! :(
I am not a happy bunny atm :(

Hi I have been on steroids for 6 weeks started on 20mg now on 5mg and started Humira 2 weeks ago. I did question this with the IBD nurse beforehand and she said it would be fine to be on both along with Azathioprine that I also take. hope you feel better soonx
