Saw a new GI today!

So I saw a new GI doctor today...he said based on my tests and symptoms he doesn't think it's crohns....can I still stay in this section? :D anyways he wants to do an upper gi again, then some specialized CT scan, then the thing where you swallow the camera pill if there isn't any narrowing which he suspects there might be. He's keeping me on the same medicine for now, for the pain he told me to take lortab but sparingly to avoid further constipation, obstruction, etc. I'm seeing him or his PA in two weeks in-between the time I'm getting those tests...he seams very investigative so I hope this all turns out well...

He's not sure...he was very honest and said he was stumbed by my case! He threw around a bunch of disorders including some kind of rare and scary ones. He's gonna talk with some fancy doctor from Boston and try and get to the bottom of this (no pun intended). And for once I wasn't denied that I had pain! Even though I still have pain I'm so happy a doctor is taking me serious...he straight up said if he can't figure it out he would refer me to a specialist at mayo clinic or something like that. Praying for answers!

"And for once I wasn't denied that I had pain!" THAT IS GREAT!! It has taken me a long time to convince DR after DR that I am having pain. They all just seem to view it as a small thing or not generally believe me when I say "It hurts" I wish you the best of luck and hope you get some great news! keep us posted on what the DR.s say.
