Xocai Healthy Chocolate ???

Hello,

I just came back from a Craft Sale, and there was a booth set up there selling Probiotoc Xocai Healthy Chocolate.  The lady said people with Crohns and Colitis has been cured by eating this chocolate.  Have any of you out there heard of this or have experienced any results from eating this chocolate?

There is no CURE for Crohn's. So right there I would doubt anything being said by the sales person. Sadly there are too many people out there trying to make a profit from people who are willing to try anything to get better. There have been studies that say dark chocolate has some health benefits. But I am not aware of any specific to Crohn's.

Thank you Suzanne.  I appreciate your information.  I myself, found it so hard to believe, so I thought this would be the best place for me to see if anyone had ever heard of this chocolate or if anyone had ever tried it.  I did not buy any right away, I wanted to hear some feedback on it first.

I have to tell you many people have tried giving me monive and sunshine health or something like that name, and though they may be healthy they can't and won't heal you, (we found that out couple of 100 dollars to late :/)the people that try to sell these don't have crohn's normally and have absolutely NO clue what they're talking about as Suzanne said there is NO cure for crohn's, no matter how many people come to you, they don't know what they are talking about haha.

If there's ever a cure for Crohn's, Xocai Healthy chocolate isn't going to be it. The 'healthy' part probably comes from the probiotic bit but I'll guarantee there won't be anything like enough bacteria to make a difference.

Again, thank you for your input.  It all sounded to go to be true.  Although any type of relief that someone tells you there are testimonials from people and that I can talk to a Doctor who promotes the chocolate, it kind of draws you in to believe them.  I will not be purchasing this chocolate.

You're welcome. The purveyors of miracle cures can be very persuasive and will usually do their best to sound as credible as possible. Tell-tale signs of crank products are glowing testimonials; a wide range of ailments that they supposedly 'cure', not just one or two; a doctor on board to give their support (doctor of what and where from, though, that's the question...); pseudo-scientic waffle full of buzz words and (very often) sentences crammed with over-excitable caps and exclamation marks about this WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!

If you want to eat chocolate, I would just eat regular, good-quality dark chocolate!

Chocolate is good, but I doubt that it is cure. I like those little dove bars, or peanut butter cups.
