Thanks again for your thoughts--This goes to tsitodawg--I guess I've had the Drs. say chronic mildely elevated alka-phosphtase. And I was reading in my nurition book under cirrhosis some of the first signs I guess. And they say you can't believe ecerything you read. But I've also had itching all of the time, red palms and my eyes are dry and itch all of the time. I had seen I guess it was a couple of years ago I notice a yellowing under my eyes, I can remember my 1st Gasto Doc I went to for 8years and my 2nd Gasto Doc for over a year now says he does not see that. I guess when I first read your post I kinda felt bad as yes you did come off as rude. I thought we were all hear to help one another and vent out our frustrations! I did have an MRI done last Aug/09 and what the Doc was checking for was to see if the elevation was coming from my bone or my liver. He called it an infraction or something like that. And he did find out that the elevationofnthe alka-phosphtas was coming from my liver not the bone. I also guess what bothers me the most was losing my insurance and having to go on Cobra, after the first of nthe year I need to start looking into another insurance that I can afford. I thought Obama passed a law that all insurance companies would have to take someone that has a pre-existing condition!! I was taking Probotics and Digestive Ensymes for my Crohns, and my Doc didn't seem to think it was necessary. I quit the digestive ensymes but still take the Probotics every once in awhile. I was told as well that a good diet helps too. I have a good book called "Eating Rightnfor a Bad Gut, which is very informative and has some very good info in it. The Doc that wrote it was James Scalia. P.S. I forgot to say the my Doc said if I was jauncided, it would be in the whites of my eyes and it is not. I'm just the type of person that really cares about
people and wants to help out as much as I can. And if that's the wrong way to be for that I'm sorry. Take care---
