Well, it's going to be 38C on New Year's Eve, so I think I ought to do some cooking today, just so I can keep the house cool tomorrow.
* find san choi bau (sp?) recipe and make a shopping list
* buy ingredients. Maybe get some nice grapes etc while I'm out.
* cook it
* maybe look at clothes shop while I'm at the supermarket, because I'm really starting to feel as if I need to hide away because I have nothing to wear. It doesn't help that I bought a pair of 3/4 pants in early December and subsequently lost so much weight that they're now falling off me...
* go to nursery
Ivy's summer holiday fun list begins (please feel free to contribute ideas, because, as I said in Wednesday's thread, I'm stumped):
* give legs some tlc
* give feet some tlc
* while at the supermarket, look at those moisturisers that brown the skin, because a friend sent me a photo she had taken of me in November, and blue legs (Reynaud's!) popping from beneath a summer skirt are NOT a good look
Christmas friend left her knife here on Saturday and I'm going to have to return it. I have an accompanying note written, but am just giving it a day or two to "think" so I can redraft it and make sure it says what I want it to say.
Ivy.
