Ok, this happens to me a LOT. When I travel, my stomach bothers me, mostly if it is long distances and it is worse when I am the driver.
I was exhausted when I got home at 9 pm from a 5 hour drive last night. I woke up in the middle of the night with stomach cramps.... I am 8 weeks post resection and have done really well up until now. My colon function has been good since my surgery. I did notice earlier in the week, I was woken up with pain, not severe but it did wake me up. Usually, it doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night. I am afraid I am having inflammation again....... IBS isn't supposed to wake you up with pain.
I have to travel this distance often and it drains me so much. I was so disappointed when I woke up sick. I had been doing so well. Part of me thinks that traveling is just not for me b/c it is too exhausting. I am about due for a check up with my surgeon. Think I am going to make an appt to see what's up. I am not supposed to have crohn's or UC but my blood test is positive for crohn's (ASCA). I think IT"S BACK!!!! Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!
