Chronic Severe Constipation linked with Crohns disease?

Does anyone know what the likelihood is for a child with crohns disease to suffer from severe chronic constipation instead of diarrhea? From what I have been reading it is more likely to have diarrhea than constipation. I am trying to find a "mystery diagnosis" for my 6 year old. My son has been suffering for way to long and the dr's will not do anything, but say it is normal.

I have taken him to 2 pediatric GI's and they too have dismissed the problem as normal. My son has been hospitalized 2x in the last 9 months to "clean" his system out. The first time they did a biopsy on his colon to test for hirschsprungs disease. The second time they did 800 cc's of a warm soapy enema and he still didn't go... I have tried fiber, all the fiber powders that you put in a drink, yogurts, miralax (stool softener), etc... you name it and we have tried it. We have been battling this problem for nearly 4 years. I do appreciate your incite though, it really does help knowing that he isn't the only one (as he seems to think).
