Mindy, it is funny how drugs can react differently with people. Hyomax gives me no ill effects at all while the dicyclamine I am careful to only take at night because it makes me kinda loopy
. I would never drive with it wheras I drive with hyomax. I have crohns that is isloated to my small colon right now. In the terminal illium (sp) I believe is what they told me. I am currently on 4 lialda a day and 1 entocort a day. I was on 3 entocort but I am finally weening down. The dr tells me I have mild crohns but I just came off a really bad prolonged flare. It took me about
8 months to feel normal again. I was actually told for years (not by this dr) that I could not have crohns cause I wasn't sick enough. My symptoms have been mild up until now and now that it is under control I am back to just mainly dealing with the on and off cramping. For me watching what I eat helps alot. I can actually eat salad and fiber again but have to be careful not to overload on the grains and stuff like that. It took a long time of keeping a food diary but I have figured out trigger foods and trigger times of the month.
