you asked about the cart that I have for over my bed (and in which my laptop sits)...I bought it at Fry's Electronics...it's a laptop cart...it makes it nice because it sits over my bed like a hospital tray, and doesn't have to sit on my legs...so I push it out of the way when I don't want to use it..

Looks like you can get them at staples too...fits nicely over my bed which is 30" high...

That looks a lot nicer than the ones I've found online. I may save up for one. I don't have a tv in my room so when I don't feel well I open my sofa bed, which isn't too comfy. It would be nice to have the table to put my laptop on and lay in bed watching DVDs!

One other question...my bed is really low profile. Would it go under my bed if there's only a 3" space between the floor and bedframe? I'd hate to save up and order or buy one just to find I can't "drive" it under my bed.

as to the low profile thing...I don't know...you could look at them in the stores...I noticed that Staples carries them...

Honestly I got the idea of this when I started noticing that my dr's offices had this type of cart...I thought this would be grand as I couldn't really find a hospital tray anywhere...

I really wish someone could make these things look great in the home (ie: with real woods) instead of looking like for the office...I think someone could make a bit of money selling them at a reasonable price to people who are homebound and don't feel so good...heck selling them to the general public instead of having the laptop in bed on you "lap" but looking like a nice piece of furniture
