Oh well, post first and read later. Guess I was supposed to introduce myself before I tagged an old post. Well I've always lived by the rule better to seek forgiveness than ask permission.

Daughter is 15 with Crohn's for about a year and 1/2. Fistula surgeries twice in the last two months. Two setons currently in place.

6mp, flagyl and some other crap I can't pronounce. Supposed to start Remicade soon.

Started hyperbaric oxygen treatment yesterday. WTH...it can't hurt, though sometimes I feel like I've turned into the kind of person I used to shake my head at in disbelief. A friend's dad with MS was dragged all over the world chasing one miracle worker after another. Of course nothing ever helped. At the time I couldn't comprehend how anyone could do such a thing. Now I've got a little better understanding.

Hi Fish12563, no problem on posting first. I just ask that folks avoid pulling up old posts, as many of our members think they have already responded to it, and tend to avoid them. And our forum is so fast moving that its better to post any questions you have in a new post, so you get more responses.

Remicade is supposed to be a great med for fistula's. Hoping that it does the trick to heal your daughters fistula soon. I have luckily never experienced one, but everything I hear is that they are horrible. Big hugs to her!! Will be interested on hearing how the hyperbaric oxygen works.
