Doesn't help, or so my GI keeps telling me.  He said that quitting would by another biologic treatment all by itself.  I smoke less than half a pack a day myself.

Apparently it has a negative effect on CD and my GI told me to give up but he did say that if I had UC instead and smoked that stopping can have a negitive effect on the UC. Odd how it effects one and not the otehr.

Oh should also add that I have given up again since starting Humira, but have given up for years before and never noticed any diff between my symptoms whether smoking or not smoking.
