That is an awesome story! I am a born and breed Boston Red Sox Fan, but my next favorite team has always been the Toronto Blue Jays because their charity of choice is/was Crohn's (Not sure if it still is, but it was while I was growing up). Now the Giants can be added to the list of teams I will route for with all my heart!

great story, they are now my favorite team. I wish my old Co. would have done something like that, just being supportive, they waited for me to make small mistake,so they could get me off there payroll. but that was snakey a## casino business. word of advice, never waste your money at casino, they take your money as fast as they can. and try to be really friendly about it. all casino's are like that. me personally, I would never step into a casino again, I saw how they operated. if you win decent amout, they will do what they can to get you back to try to get they're money back. I use to tell my wife it was a step up from crack house going to work there.

Great story I retweeted it and posted to FB. I never knew that about the blue jays either. I recall one time in RI back when I was a tenn I think, the local top 40 radio station played a softball game against singer Michael Bolton and his softball team to rais money for C&C too. I just wish more could be done to raise awareness

I always knew that the Giants supported people on steroids but not prednisone. Just kidding,(longtime A's fan here) I actually posted this story on facebook as well. It is really sad to read about this man having to move to an assisted living center at such a young age but incredible to hear of the support of the team and players. I wish that there was some way to reach this man and let him know about this site. His disease is so severe and I am sure that he could use the support of a group like this. An awesome story!
