2nd regular remi infusion

I am taking my boy in for his 2nd post loading dose today. The article on Remi and lymphoma scares me. we made the decision three years ago that if there was a chance that he would have to go on Remi, he would not be on immuran at the same time. His GI said that most people thought the risk was worth it. I feel a little vindicated in taking him off of immuran back then. another concern, his bone density is in the osteoporosis range. we know it is from malabsorbtion. Any ideas on how long it takes to build back up?

I went through the same things Comedybob. I started remicade and 6mp when I was only 13 years old. I was doing a double therapy at a young age. So far, nothing has happened to me. I stopped both a while ago because they stopped working. I know it's scary. Trust me. I've been there. To me personally, it was worth it. It gave me back my life. It did stop working for me, but it helped during the course. Sometimes you have to forget the risks to give some quality of life back to your kid. That's my input.
