Somebody asked this question a couple of weeks ago and got lots of answers. Many of us have green diarrhea, which does indeed indicate that you're excreting too much bile. The official name of the condition is "bile salts diarrhea," especially prevalent when you've had an ileal resection and/or had your gallbladder removed. The most common treatment is a daily dose of cholestyramine, an orange-flavored powder that you mix into juice or other liquid. You have to experiment a little to figure out what's the right dosage for you. But it definitely helps.
