Hello! I got my prescription for LDN today. Just took my first pill about 20 minutes ago. I'll keep this thread updated weekly to keep you up on my progress. Hopefully this will be the medicine that finally helps me!

good luck - I will follow with interest as I am keen to give it a go myself.

Don't forget there is cream option if the pills don't suit idea

Did you do the anti-bacterial/anti-yeast treatment that is recommended as well?

Good luck with it. I too will be following with interest as Ds has been called in next week and I am 'second guessing'
that they may want to add more medication to his regime(remicade?) That really is something that I don't want to happen bearing in mind his age and already being on azathioprine.

Good luck to you! I was just reading an article somewhere yesterday that you should allow the LDN about 12 weeks to see if it will work for you. Hope it does the trick and you get feeling better soon. Hugs!

Thank you guys. I decided to do a First Day Update:
So, after the first night, I did suffer from a little sleeplessness. People have said that's fairly normal for the first few doses. I def feel as if I'm being cleansed if that's a good word to describe it. I went to the bathroom twice so far, it was def less formed and there was a little blood. I read that people who start this usually get a little worse before they get better. I'm hoping that's my case. Other than that, I feel pretty normal. I'm hoping that if the LDN works, it'll help this fistula I have. It sure is a pain. I'm going to give it about 3 months before I make a full judgement. I really, really hope it works. I'll update you guys again when something major (bad or good) happens.

Are you on immuno supressants? The big drawback I am seeing from LDN is although it can be used with immuno supressants, typically the idea is to ween off the immuno drugs as LDN and immuno supressants counter act each other.

I am not currently on any immuno suppressants. It would be contradictory to do such a thing.

Just checking. : ) hehe. Holding out hope maybe there was something I dont know after my google fest on LDN and taking with immuno supressants. I really hope it works for you!!!

Goodluck. There are a lot of users on the UC board trying LDN right now. You may want to check out their progress.
