Days long gas pain?

Hi all-

I've had really bad, sharp, stabbing stomach pain since Tuesday afternoon. I thought it was just gas and took gas-x and lots of water and walking but nothing helped as I was crying in pain. I contacted my doctor and just had stat blood work and small bowel follow through today and everything was fine. The pain has lessened but it is still there. I was just told to advance my diet and drink liquids. I'm just so frustrated, can this really be just bad trapped gas?

Thanks for your reply. I was actually asked by the radiology tech if I still had my appendix, which I do, but wouldn't I have a fever or wouldn't it be dangerous if it wasn't removed by now? I never thought about the gallbladder. But the pain is behind and lower than my belly button, also distention. Not as excruciating right now, but just super tender.
