Been in sort of a flare the past year, finally got in for a more routine colonoscopy last week tuesday, it showed some inflamation and if it looked safe he would do a balloon procedure on my terminal ilieum to widen it. He said the stricture I have is about the size of a pinkie and should be more like the width of a thumb. So he did this balloon widening, anyone else ever have this done? so anyway i had been feeling really well for about a month before colonoscopy no pain was eating pretty good. So now eversince the procedure my stomach is just in pain most of the day, I have tried just drinking meals not helping, I am wondering if i am still sore from the biopsies or maybe this balloon widening thing to my terminal illiem, its been five days and I don't remember ever having this pain for all day long usually it comes and goes but this is constant, talked to doc. office the day after of course they say it is normal to have some discomfort for up to 48 hours. do you think the colonoscopy made me more inflammed, i am just so sick of this pain, i have 3 kids under 8 and I can hardly get myself off the couch. Just need to vent I am planning on calling the doc. tomorrow. I have a RX for the generic form of Darvocet and just found out it was recalled 2 months after I got it, so now don't know if I should just take it or not.. I have been taking it for pain for about 10 years.. Any thoughts???? Thanks!!!
